TThe Duqm Power Company LLC (DPC) is the sole utility provider to Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company (DRPIC), as per the terms of the PWPA contract.

JOB PROFILE

  • To be responsible for managing plant administration activities;

  • To communicate objective, assist in the selection development and evaluation of personnel in accordance with the company policies and government regulations;

  • To perform all assigned activities in such a manner that will ensure the company’s meeting contractual requirements in terms of quantity and quality of supplied utilities to the off-takers;

  • To act with high professionalism in exercising all duties, with adherence to the Human Capital policies of the company.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Encouraging the organization to achieve the set targets on its way towards the vision

  • Management and implementation of power plant finance & accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and invoicing routines

  • Prepare to invoice and liaise otherwise in invoicing, budgeting, financial reporting, accounting, and related matters

  • Maintaining the appointment of the plant manager Perform staff requirement and prepare the interview process

  • Managing in the staff training course, staff training record and training survey

  • Maintaining power plant telephone lists, contact numbers, and staff lists up to date Management of the payroll system and services

  • Manage the procurement of office consumables and materials Follow-up, review, assessment, and development of the Operation Readiness Plan (ORP)

  • Negotiate contracts for gardening, cleaning, office maintenance, vehicle rental & other general services at the power plant

  • Construction of the staff handbook at the power plant in cooperation and in accordance with instructions of the plant manager

  • Supervise the personnel in the administration department

  • Encourage the staff activity to buildup teamwork in the organization

  • Any other duties as required by the plant manager

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent experience or higher ·        

  • Three-years to working in the Accounting field or five years of experience in related function

  • Thorough knowledge of computer software such as MS word, excel and EDMS ·        

  • Strong leadership team-building skills ·        

  • Good in Finance and Accounting knowledge
