Abdulwahhab Al Hinai has nearly 20 years of experience in legal and regulatory matters, with a strong focus on the energy and utilities sectors. He is currently the General Counsel at OQ. In his role at OQ, he oversees legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management. Prior to this, Abdulwahhab was the Director of Licensing and Legal Affairs at the Authority for Public Services Regulation, where he played a pivotal role in sector liberalization and reform projects, as well as the restructuring of key economic sectors. His expertise spans multiple sectors, particularly in the public sector, where he has contributed to the development of policies and regulatory frameworks. Abdulwahhab holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from King's College, London, and an MBA from Strathclyde. His international education and experience in leading reform projects have further enhanced his influence across various industries.
