Marafiq Launches Young Leaders Program 2024

Marafiq, an OQ company affiliated with the Oman Investment Authority, proudly announces the launch of its Omani Young Leaders Program 2024. This transformative initiative aims to equip Omani youth with the skills and capabilities to assume leadership roles within the company in the near future. 

The program is tailored for new employees of Marafiq Company holding university degrees and boasting a minimum of five years of experience. Abdullah Al-Hashimi, Managing Director of Marafiq, underscored the company's steadfast commitment to nurturing Omani talent to fill various pivotal positions. He highlighted Marafiq's substantial investments in the Economic Zone at Duqm, particularly in the electricity and water sectors. 

Marafiq's investments include the Integrated Power and Water Plant, supplying electricity to Duqm Refinery and oil storage facilities in Ras Markaz, and providing industrial water services to Duqm Refinery. Additionally, the company manages the Gas Turbine Power Production Plant, meeting the electricity needs of the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, and oversees the drinking water sector in the area. 

Al-Hashimi emphasized Marafiq Company's indispensable role in bolstering investments in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm. Qualifying Omani youth enhances the company's resilience, enabling it to surmount challenges and sustain growth while benefiting from the expertise of foreign professionals. 

The "Young Leaders Program" features a comprehensive series of training workshops conducted by experts in human resources, leadership, and management. Seasoned executives and pioneers who have been instrumental in Marafiq's journey from its inception also contribute to the program, offering invaluable guidance and insights to participants. 

Through interactive sessions and forums, the program aims to refine communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, equipping participants with the tools to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Furthermore, individual qualification and development plans are approved for each employee, ensuring personalized growth trajectories. 

Al-Hashimi reiterated Marafiq's dedication to attracting and nurturing Omani talent. He commended the company's past training programs, which have significantly contributed to high Omanisation rates within Marafiq. He applauded the dedication of Omani resources in realizing the company's goals and objective
