A delegation of senior leaders from the energy sector visits Marafiq and reviews its strategic projects in Duqm.

We were honored by the visit of H.E. Mohsin bin Hamad Al Hadhrami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, accompanied by Mr. Ashraf bin Hamad Al Ma’amari (CEO of OQ Group), Mr. Tariq bin Mohammed Al Junaidi (CEO of Oman Oil Marketing Company), and Mr. Salem bin Marhoon Al Hashmi (Oman Tank Terminal Company – OTTCO).

The visit included a presentation on the latest technologies used in water and energy management, highlighting their vital role in enabling industrial and economic investments through the provision of reliable and sustainable services. Key ongoing and potential investment opportunities were also discussed.

As part of the visit, a field tour was conducted at the Integrated Marafiq Plant, showcasing its advanced infrastructure, smart operational systems, and major projects undertaken by the company to support the essential services network in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.

This visit reaffirms Marafiq’s position as an integrated provider of essential services in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm and as a strategic partner in driving development, supporting sustainability goals, and reinforcing corporate social responsibility efforts in the Sultanate of Oman.
